Las Vegas, Nevada, October 30, 2017—The AutoJudge Awards for Automobiles, SUVs, and Pickup Trucks celebrate their twelfth anniversary at this year’s SEMA show. Sponsored by the Texas Automotive Media Association (TAMA) the award began as an alternative to the multitude of automotive awards distributed at various car shows and other events.
The Awards Presentation takes place Monday, October 30, at 1:30 pm in the Media Center, Room S220.
"AutoJudge was conceived twelve years ago and is the first national award of the incoming auto show season," said Texas Automotive Media Association President Marlon Hanson. "It is announced at the largest automotive and aftermarket event in the country, SEMA. Selecting the very best gets more difficult every year."

This 44 lb. benchtop dynamo’s entire body is constructed of cast iron with a fully-enclosed industrial housing with factory-sealed, pre-lubricated ball-bearings for reliable, long life use. Rubber mounts at the buffer’s base help eliminate movement, plus dampen vibration.

Safety first. This new JET buffer was designed with operator safety in mind. The buffer’s motor includes brake resistors to shut down the wheels’ rotation so they come to a complete stop in less than 20 seconds.

The Dual Station Abrasive Pipe Notcher is made to last with heavy gauge steel construction throughout. This multi-tasking machine is engineered to notch pipe from ½ to 2 ½ in. diameter at the front station. It is capable of notching angles from 90 to 30o by use of a multi-positional hand lever vise.

Reviving the Cord Brand with the New Cord Model III

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- It has been more than 50 years since the last Cord automobile was produced, but if everything goes according to Craig Corbell's plan, fans of the brand won't have to wait much longer for the next generation of Cords to start arriving in driveways.

When Glenn Pray bought the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Co. in 1960, he started working on a new Cord, which was last produced in 1937. It wasn't, however, until 1966 that Pray released his first Cord. The new car was reduced-scale and aptly named the "Cord 810" (8/10th scale). That period of production was short-lived, and only 97 second-generation Cords were built during Pray's tenure.

The brand lay untouched from 1966 until 2014 when the Cord Automobile Company and its trademark and all of the rights associated with the Cord name were put up for auction.
